This position is located at our Charles Street Mens Hostel program, which is a short-term shelter for men experiencing homelessness with support on the journey towards stable housing.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

REEP Green Solutions is an environmental non-profit working for healthier homes and sustainable communities. Over the last 13 years of our existence, we have helped Waterloo Region residents make their homes more energy efficient, thereby saving 23,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. The Business Development Manager works closely with the Executive Director as a senior member of the REEP management team to steer the organization and pursue mission-focused revenue generation opportunities. The successful candidate will continue the development of a sustainable revenue model for REEP over the short- and long-term, including a diverse mixture of fee-for-service initiatives, corporate sponsorship, charitable giving and foundation grants.

Alcontrol is a women's specific, addiction treatment program offering assessment/screening, residential, day and community treatment services. In addition, Alcontrol provides specialized services to women who are pregnant. There are nine treatment beds in the residential program which operates with a twenty-four hour staffing model.
This position provides weekend coverage at a short-term shelter providing support for men experiencing homelessness on the journey towards stable housing.
House of Friendship provides an Addiction Supports to Housing Program for people with problematic substance use who have had previous involvement with addiction treatment and who are experiencing homelessness. The service is delivered in partnership with Waterloo Regional Homes for Mental Health Inc. The goal of this program is to increase the health and social outcomes of people with problematic substance use issues by assisting them in maintaining stable housing and providing individual support.
We are searching for an energetic and participant focused person to join our team and fill one of our counsellor roles. Reporting to the Program Supervisor, this person will be responsible for providing individual and group addiction recovery and/or harm reduction counselling for an established caseload of 8-9 people. This person will provide addiction counselling, support to program participants as they utilize community resources and assist them in maintaining their housing.
